The Central Oregon real estate market is booming right now for sellers. Bend and Redmond homes for sale are receiving some of the highest selling prices since the mid 2000’s.
The Redmond real estate market is particularly moving right now. If you have thought about selling your home and really want to get the best price per square foot then now is the time. Don’t wait until the fall to start selling your home. Historical data shows that late spring, summer, and early fall are the best times to sell your home in Central Oregon. Once fall and winter hits home buyers interested in purchasing tend to hold off and wait until the following spring.
The Bend market is still incredibly competitive as well with home prices continuing to rise. Homes in the $200-350,000 range are still a hot commodity and moving quickly. If your home falls into the $350-650,000 range homes are still moving quickly in that price range as well.
Higher end listings in the $650,000 and into the million dollar range are also selling quickly. We are not seeing a slowdown in the market yet in Central Oregon.
However with the elections coming up this fall I would suggest selling now rather than waiting. The real estate market can change in a heartbeat and you may find yourself holding onto your house longer than you want to.
